Malka is the pseudo-King of the Vale Pride. He takes the "throne" once he comes of age. He is a deeply introspective lion, and he often holds conversation with the stars, seeking wisdom from the ancient beings who watch over the world. He also manages to get lost whenever he gets five feet from his den -- but he plays it off like he meant to end up on a mountain peak or submerged in a lake.

Fortunately, the dedicated and very, very patient pseudo-Queen Ghalyela has proven an expert in tracking down her wayward mate and bringing him home safely from his shenanigans royal territorial expeditions.

Poor Ghalyela doesn't have much of a persona compared to Rinja's extensive collection of characters, so I had a little fun.
The way I see it, she has to have the patience of a saint to put up with Malka's frequent 'wanderings'.
